In order to accomplice any objective or finish a job, all participating entities put their best effort to offer their best performance/input for achieving the objective or finishing the job with the highest level of success possible. The level of performance/input [positive/negative] every entity can offer while participating in the engagement [objective or job] is known as SUPPORT.
A student has five subjects to study. He may perform well in some of the subjects but he can’t deliver the same kind of performance in the rest of the other subjects. The student has almost the same entities engaged for delivering better performance in each subject. But he succeeds in some of the subjects while failing to maintain the same level of performance in other subjects. While delivering the performance/input by the entities during the engagement is called support, the level of performance these entities deliver is called the level of support.
